As I read through some of these poems, they may spark an interest in students to learn more about animals. Perfect for my second graders learning about adaptations and my fourth graders learning about biomes. Highly recommended for elementary school collections. While not every poem is spectacular, it's a solid collection and one that's easy to use to compliment the curriculum.
