For all of us that have tried to loose weight this is a great story. It was about a group of women who had a cooking club. One day the subject of weight came and they all wanted to lose. It follows the women throught the process some succed and some do not. They did not want to be a diet club so the called ithe Bikini Season. There are a lot of laughs in this book. I would recommend reading it to find out how they all do. I found this on a sale table at the book store and decided to give it a try as a quick summer read. I admit that this is not normally my chosen genre.The story about 4 friends trying to lose weight and adopt a healthier lifestyle while dealing with problems in their personal lives (a controlling fiance, a potentially cheating husband, stressful jobs, etc) was just ok. I actually found it a bit difficult to keep up with which friend had which life problems in the beginning as it jumped around quite a bit. I thought that Megan's character and story line was the most interesting, yet I felt she had the least amount of page time. I found myself wanting to know more about what might happen in the future for her.
