About book Bind Me (2013)

"Bind Me" is the second in Rene Folsom's Roommate Romance series. I received this book as a gift from the author in exchange for my honest review. Having read other books in this genre I will tell potential readers that this is really light BDSM and not likely to push a new reader into an uncomfortable zone. One of the things that I really loved about this book was that Lily was not portrayed as weak or mousy in her ways. As Chaz says to her, he was reading through her implied suggestion and was going to take her up on it. Ms. Folsom portrays Chaz as the buffed out, sculpted male species that one has come to expect from this genre. Personally, I wouldn't mind the descriptions of his hard muscles and body if the story were lengthier. But when a story is a quick read, I think that part of it was overkill. But communicating with the author, I know that she has a special place in her heart for Chaz so perhaps he was given some preferential treatment by his creator. The story was mild dominance and unlikely to offend and may be a good introduction for mature adults into this genre. Lily maintains some control. Chaz allows her to call him by his name and not sir and certainly not master. Lily dresses to impress and impress she does. Before even exploring the dominance part of their interlude this book scenes about sex in a public place. That is something that many couples can relate to and may improve the draw of readers into the book. Lily is a beauty. Chaz is hunky, a bit of a cliche but if it works for the author that is what counts. I admit I struggle with short stories/novellas. I always seem to be searching for more and find myself disappointed when things end. Perhaps that is just greed on my part. I would like more details and more information about the relationship between these two characters. Again, just personal greed. That is the sign of the success of Ms. Folsom's writing. She leaves you wanting more.

Rene Folsom does not disappoint in any way shape or form with Bind Me. Even though Bind Me is a short story, Folsom includes so much detail that I could envision Lily and Chaz like they were actually my neighbors. Bind Me is told through Lily’s point of view and even though she knew what she was getting into, it was told in a refreshing manner. I loved how she portrayed BDSM because it’s not all like what many readers were introduced to with Christian Grey. Plus sexy artist Chaz had my pulse racing by the time he was finished being introduced. Lily is engaging and easy to love and relate to. The way Folsom expertly wrote her to be excited, intrigued and apprehensive all at once was impressive for a short story. Another thing you can definitely expect is moist panties. The steamy scenes and moments will get your pulse racing and temperature rising. Bind Me is better than fresh baked chocolate chip cookies from the oven. I will be keeping up with the roommate series for as long as Folsom keeps writing them. Just when I thought things couldn’t get any hotter after Heart you (book 1), I read Bind Me and was blown away again.Seriously give the books a try and discover new tricks for your own bedroom.

Do You like book Bind Me (2013)?

tOne thing I really enjoyed about this book was being able to “see” Lily’s curiosity start to grow with her desire for Chaz. Rene has the ability to include the little details that bring the story to life even more. It was almost like you could understand Lily’s hesitation towards the dominate Chaz, but she couldn’t let go of her desires to be with him.tThis is another steamy read from Rene, and even though it has a light BDSM aspect to it, you are not overwhelmed with that part of the story. You were more drawn into the story, as opposed to being focused on the BDSM part. tThis is the second of the Roommate Romance series, and I would completely recommend it. If you haven’t read the first book in the series, Heart You, then what are you waiting for??

Wow! That is all I can say! This short story will leave you wanting a damn novel! I read it in about 15 minutes with a few Mommy interruptions... And WOW! This story is about 2 roommates, and one is a dominant male. Once Lily gets an eye full of Chaz & another girl... She wants more. Bind Me takes place at an Art Gallery. Lily & Chaz get to know each other on an entire new level.Bind Me is the perfect quick read if you loved Fifty Shades of Grey. It's short, hot, steamy, dominate, intense, and a fear of getting caught! My only complaint is that it was too short! I wanted to know more about the roommate romance, and how it all works out down the road! So if you want a quick, hot read... Get Bind Me today!!!

Before reading my review, realize that this story is for mature audiences only. This is a very steamy erotica and viewer descretion is extremely advised.Once again Rene Folsom proves to be a master of erotica with her second entry into the Roomate Romance series (the first entry being Heart You). Bind Me is the story of a woman who lusts after her roomate who proves to be a master of pleasure. Finally achieving what she has striven for, she undergoes a night she will never forget.I’m once again brought to mention how I don’t normally enjoy or partake in smut-driven stories, but Rene Folsom has a way with words that makes me forget my usual indifference towards erotica. Her style is very fluent, brilliantly written and out right mind-blowing in her descriptions. The depth this author has brought to her stories has me jealous of her skill. She pens each of her stories with finesse, bringing the characters to life in ways others could not. Rene Folsom definitely has a fan when it comes to me!
