About book Blood, Body And Mind (2000)

It was a mix of feelings for me on this book.I liked the story... What I didn't like was that while it prolonged the novel from sex craziness until 70% something (Kindle edition) which was usually ok with me - it ended up all about sex after that point. Eh, I like it a little spread out through the story with its plot intact. So after that point, I was actually disappointed. There were minor grammatical errors but it didn't bother me this time - just the plot seemed to be lost after the characters started to have sex. Then it came back but it wasn't as strong as I would like it to be. I did like the characters and how they were developed and it was interesting to learn about Sara Temple's background as a guard of the Queen but she had to be discreet as there was a warrant out on her head, etc. But overall - will I continue the series? Eh, probably not right away but eventually if I still think about this story. I was not impressed by this book. First Sara was supposed to be a strong woman but she came off as a childish little girl. She refused to discuss anything with Mel or Aaron then she would get angry that they never told her anything or made decisions for her. The editing could use some work as well. Nothing really was accomplished. The whole trial scene just kinda disappeared in the middle of it. Also I think Aaron and Sara were officially mated twice.
