this book is about three kids that are abandoned in alaska denial national park and by them walking there they heard a roar from some where and when they got to the place were they heard the roar they saw that there were avalanches.the avalanches were buried alive and the kids did not know what to do to help them out because there was a lot of snow and with the kids freezing then how would they be able to do something to help the avalanches out. the kids father left them in alaska but at the end of the story he came back for and they also got the avalanches out. but almost at the very end of the story the kids were suffering because they could not sleep well and jack had a very bad headache that he even wanted to throw up.i think that at the end of the story they were all happy that their fsther came back for them because they really suffered
