About book Cardinal's Rule (2010)

Interesting storyline, characters had some decent depth. I wasn't sure I'd get into it with the M/m, slave/humiliation content, but I did (hmmmmmmm). Good psychological profile of how a sub becomes a Domme (one view anyway). Unfortunatley, just when I was ready for a major plot twist (it seemed inevitable), the whole thing wrapped up with a 'happily ever after' feel. A little dissapointing. Still a goodread! This was a tough read for me - always looking for a HEA, and I guess in the end that is what they had - or at least how it worked out for them.... I found it very emotionally difficult to read, abut at the same time, I couldn't put it down..... and have very definitely recommended this series to all my friends - with a couple of warnings about needing tissues, and reminding that not everyone has the same idea of a HEA.....

This was a great love story. It was really nice how the story progressed and came around full circle

This was a total mindfuck for me... I don't know if I would have read it if I knew before hand.

An interesting twist and I liked it.
