About book Christmas Crumble (2012)

This is a short Christmas mystery in the Agatha Raisin series. It was a fun easy read that I enjoyed. Although I felt it would have been much better if it had been longer. The ending seemed abrupt.I have read quite a few in this series and enjoyed them much more than this short story. Agatha Raisin is a fun character with all the silly situations she gets into. This story doesn't show all of her personality. If this is your first read in this series, give some of the older books a try, I think you will like them better. I would recommend this story if you want a really quick Christmas mystery to read. It's not the best by the author but has its entertaining moments. Oh, Agatha, Agatha, will you never learn? Let the caterers handle ALL of the food next time. I took my Kindle to church with me today and was reading this while waiting for church to begin. I am embarassed to say that I laughed out loud when good old Aggie brought the horrendous Christmas pudding down on the old lecher's head! I was also relieved, because I was really worried lest anyone should actually eat the thing. I wish it hadn't been so short, and wish the trouble had been taken to make it a novel, but since it's Agatha, I can forgive her.

Do You like book Christmas Crumble (2012)?

Not bad, and pretty much like Agatha's Christmas pudding, a bit lacking in substance.
