I received this book in exchange for my honest review. I really did enjoy this book. It's a story about friendship, love and crossing that fine line between the two. As much as I enjoyed the story it also made me very irritated at times as well but I guess that's a good thing, right? The story actually ended up taking a direction that I didn't see coming. It also ended with a cliffhanger. I am looking forward to seeing what happens in book two!!! The author just throws us right in there!Evie and Jay, friends since they were kids and secretly in love with each other. The problem? Evie's roommate is Cynthia who just so happens to be Jay's girlfriend. When Evie and Jay finally admit to each other their feelings, Cynthia makes a request that shocks them both.Unsure what to do, Evie believes the worst and starts to think that her and Jay will never be together.I'm mad at the 3 of them for being so selfish and I found myself frustrated with them quite often throughout the book. I just wanted to smack some sense into them!I'm not sure what to think of this book. I didn't like the ending. I felt like there should have been at least one more chapter before the epilogue. The epilogue tells us what's happening 2 weeks later, but I would have liked to read more about how Evie handled those 2 weeks. She didn't just jump into the relationship without reservation so I know those 2 weeks weren't as easy as pie for her. I guess we'll see how book 2 starts out.I don't mind reading about a ménagé, but this one didn't quite sit well with me. I think it was the ending. I haven't yet made up my mind about continuing the series with book 2. I gave it 3.5 stars because the storyline does stand out from the rest of ménagés I've read and is very well written.
