About book Contos Da Seleção: O Príncipe & O Guarda (2014)

I really liked The Prince, we can see a different side of the story and live again the first time that America and Maxon met each other. I like Maxin even more and we the entire serie we can see his evolution. But I dislike so badly The Guard ! I didn't like Aspen that much but here, he's so selfish and focus on how to get back America and judging Maxon ! I tried to go into the novella but it was hard. I'm not a fan of Aspen but he really did change in The One and I like him better at the end. I must say that I quite enjoyed this book. It was interesting seeing things through a different point of views. Before reading this book, I wasn't always certain if Aspen's feelings toward America were genuine. Now, I can be sure that he does love her very profoundly. It also brought me closer to Aspen whom I didn't feel very close to as opposed to Maxon.I really liked the family trees! I have always been intrigued by the characters' backrounds and having a family tree for Maxon, America and Aspen was a treat. I look forward to reading The Queen and The Favorite!

Do You like book Contos Da Seleção: O Príncipe & O Guarda (2014)?

Gives more background of the character but a little redundant when you read the others.

Just because I've read The One doesn't mean that Aspen is any less annoying
