Do You like book Crack Down (2006)?
My encounters with this genre being based mostly on Agatha Christie, I'm not really an expert as detective stories go, but I liked this novel...The main reason probably being that I liked the heroine. Kate B. is really unromantic, down to earth, no nonsense kind of heroine... The reason why I haven't been attracted to this kind of novels is that lately I feel bombarded on the subject of murder by the media, especially the television (How many CSI shows are there, something like 10? and sometimes it feels like there isn't anything but crime and murder in the media) That being said, the story did not seem as something already seen. However, the ending was not difficult to guess but maybe that is to be expected. Easy to read. Fun.
