About book Daring The Highlander (2012)

I really like this series and am sad that there are currently no others. The highland women are no damsels in distress and the men are hardened and rough. Put them together and you get all kinds of fireworks. These books are enjoyable and not ridiculous as some in this genre can be.Ailig & Morrain are characters that are easy to care about put into situations that you genuinely want them to overcome. I like how the writer tells a story and definitely want to read more. Dunno why I read this, really. I suppose I've been reading a lot of 'serious' books lately, so a romantic romp through the Highlands in the 13th Century seemed like a good idea. To use the dreadful vernacular throughout "'twasn't, laddie, dinnae fash yersel". Don't bother with it would be my advice, unless you are looking for a bit of silly Tartan rumpy-pumpy in a sort of sub Fifty Shades of Grey way (and boy - THAT'S not saying much!).

Do You like book Daring The Highlander (2012)?

I really liked the main characters. The book itself was well written and had a cute story.

Very quick read. Quite nice evocation of Scottish Highlands but not overly taxing.
