It helps the storyline flow smoothly. The characters are well developed and are introduced slowly. It was great to see Kristia grow from a shy girl to one who decides what she wants and doesn't let anything stand in her way.Can Ull and Kristia conquer love after their secrets have been exposed? Read Elsker and see. I received a gift copy in exchange for an honest review. I really enjoyed this book!The romance was just sooooo adorable and cute. the story was just so well written and the whole concept was quite original. People who really like myths, romance and well everything, I promise you will not regret picking this up. Its a really quick read, I finished reading this book in about 3 hours. This book, like I said before is based on Norse mythology. It was unlike anything I have ever read in the best way ever. It was a very nice blend between mythology and the modern world. The book centers around Kristia, she travels to Wales to go to Collage. But shes no normal teen. Kristia gets visions of the future and soon she meets Ull, the God of winter. Kristia and Ull then both fall for each other soon all hell breaks lose. The beginning was a great way to start the book, it compelles the reader to keep on reading and not stop. So we have Kristia, shes very strong, like stubborn strong but I really enjoyed that about her. Shes not afraid to do and say what shes wants. Shes really careful, does not rush into decisions, and is perfect in all ways. Through out the book, she really understands whats on the line and how she can help. Then we got Ull, hes hot. Hes just soooooooooo caring, why cant i have himmmm???? At first, when we're introduced to Ull, we get the impression that hes going to play hard to get and all that whole ''Bad boy/'' sort of thing. But it turned out that well, he wasn't. Once we got to know him, he was very caring and just the perfect boyfriend. But at times he could get really protective. Like a whole new level of protective. This character development was sooooo incredible, and i really want to see more of him in the next book. I definitely think that Elsker is a quick and enjoyable read. It really left me wanting more of the story and characters. Im really hoping to have an epic battle at the end of the next book. Fingers crossed.
