Let me start off by saying it wasn't a bad book, and I like the authors writing. I just didn't care much for the h. I can't stand for the h to constantly talk about her fear to love so she's not hurt. I really hate it when its during the whole book. page after page of it was just to much. I know I'm asking for the H and h to fall madly in love within days, but seriously they can cast freaking spells. Why is falling in love right away so far fetched? That was my only complaint. This won't stop me from reading the next book. As a matter fact I can't wait to read the next book. Ms. Black never lets me down! The Doomsday Brethren series just keeps getting better and better. Edge of your seat suspense with nail biting mystery and white hot sex! What more is there to want? Beside death to Mathias and freedom for magickind! Next up ... Anka and her beast Lucan! And hopefully some insight to the mysterious Shock. The man who we have just to determine whether he is a good guy, bad guy or half vamp!! The wait is going to drive me batshit crazy!!
