About book Every Little Thing About You (1999)

Rating: 9/10Reading this brought back so many memories of my teenage years when I used to read this book all the time. It is a lovely story and it is hard not to love Slater. I also loved meeting all his brothers which made me super excited to read the following two books in the series, both about their own stories. What made this book better than some of the other christian fiction books I own is that there are sigh-worthy moments making the reading experience very enjoyable. I also love that I learn about the bible and about christian living at the same time. The Questions:Entertaining?:YesAddictive?: It is very easy to read and at times I found it hard to put downImpacting?: NoThought provoking?: I love read about the sermons and the character's faithClean?: YesRead it again?: YesWould I Recommend it: Yes

Once I could get past the sacharine sweetness of the all the characters and the constant bible thumping (which you wouldn't think would be a problem, but it was) I actually kind of enjoyed this book. No it's not the type of book I usually read (it was for book club), but I ended up finishing it all in one night (well except for the first 40 pages which took me over a week to get up the motivation to read). The story is very straight forward with no crazy twists and a predictable ending, but it is a nice light read with a nice happy ending that my books have been lacking lately.

Do You like book Every Little Thing About You (1999)?

Too true- even in the bible women can have God given purposes and talents- I felt the author was saying pleasing your man was more important then that. Our church library agreed and removed it for a message we felt wasn't biblical or the sort of thing we wanted our young women thinking we supported. Women are as much God's children as men- shame on you Lori Wick.

I truly LOVED this series. I actually took notes from it (from some of the pastor's sermons that are in the book). I learned a lot from them. Very entertaining as well!~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~I really enjoyed re-reading this book. Its a great story and its interesting to see the struggle Liberty has with giving up control and also recognizing that she has an issue with getting what she wants and doing what she needs to to get that and then realizing how dangerous that attitude could be. Good read!Christian Fiction
