Luke Summers is Robs brother and is fighting for custody of Gordie, he's rich and pictures Rachel as a gold digger, after all why else would she want custody of a child she's never seen belonging to a cousin she hadn't seen since she was twelve.This is a beautiful moving story as it developes we slowly discover more about Rachel, the lonely yet rewarding life she leads and the inner strength she possesses. We see Lukes opinion change as he becomes aware of her, as he catches glimpse's of the longing in her eyes when she looks at Gordie, his patience and handling of her and the situation are amazing.If you want a nice gentle romance this is the book to read.
