About book Forged In Blood I (2000)

first I have to say: Mrs. Buroker has a knack for cliffhangers ... although I normally hate them she places them perfectly (which I can say easily because all the books are already published!)this books shows us Sicarius POV and it is perfect and amazingly done. during the first 5 books we learn with Amaranthe about him and his past and for me his character development is one of the best written characters I have ever read.the story is as usual fast-paced, action-driven and amazing but I won't say more about it because I think this would spoiler a lot.I have to confess I have a hard time to do a proper review on these books because I am not sure I can do them justice ... and I have to read the next book :-) I love the Emperor's series and this is no exception. Is the writing phenomenal -- no, but the characters are such fun and do have a moral fiber in that they are doing "good". In this one of the series, the emperor has been ousted and the arch enemy, Forge, has a secret weapon. Amaranthe, our heroine, has her work cut out for her to put Sespian back on the throne, clear her good name (and the name of her band of outlaws) and destroy Forge. Can she do it, stay tuned! If you haven't read the Emperor's series, you do need to start from the beginning.

Do You like book Forged In Blood I (2000)?

I bloody hate cliffhangers. There better be a happy ending or I'm going to be very very pissed.
