This book was an awesome book, it was the second book to a series of three. Alice Hoffman is an amazing writer, she writes poetically and has a flow with her writing. The main character Green is finally over the death of her family and goes to help her friend Heather and her true love Diamond. Green goes and visits all of the so called "witches" of woods that could help her find heather and Diamond. With "the finder" was with her to help find his sister Heather. The green witch is a fairy tale that is narrated by a sixteen year old name green. After the loss of her family she became a very different person. She was lonely without her family and the love of her life. The people in her village thought she was strange because of her tattoos. But they didn't know her story. She would write her stories on her body. I recommend this book for people who like reading fairy tales. But you have to read the first book first or you’ll get confused like I did. Even though I read the second one first it was still very interesting. It is also kind of sad because she was left alone with nobody. There were also some mysteries along the way.The green witch was written by Alice Hoffman. I enjoyed this book but it would have been better if I had read the first book first. Either way I was a really good book. I think people would really enjoy reading this book.
Perfect sequel to Green Angel, much needed to complete the growth of the main character.
