About book Heldenhammer (2008)

“Heldenhammer The time of Legends” by Graham McNeill is a great read. It was Published by the Black Library. It is an action packed book about the race of men defending themselves from Orc hordes and other types of deadly enemies. It is an affordable read at only nine US dollars. This book is one of the great books from the Warhammer world. The black library has printed hundreds of books about these amazing adventures similar to the one in the book, the main character of Sigmar. All of the books relate to each other in one way or another. The more you read the better the Warhammer world becomes! The Author Graham McNeill is a widely known author and has earned “New York Times bestselling Author.” The book was nothing but action packed throughout the entire thing. It kept you wanting to read more and more and read every last world of the battle scenes. Each part made you feel the realistic feel come out of the pages. Sigmar the main character is easily everybodys favorite character. He is a hero to people and gives you that bone chilling tension as he plays out his role. I couldn't put the book down. It was one of those books you've found yourself smiling at. Sigmar has been the idol of the Warhammer books for 10’s of 20’s of years. Grahams McNeil's goal in this book is to show why Sigmar is a hero and give you the story where a legend was born. This is the best book i have ever read, I enjoyed every bit of it. It is definitely a book faced towards older people, with all the held smashing and bloodshed. Once you get past that though it will only keep you wanting more. This is the first in Black Library's new Time Of Legends series. These novels will cover some of the most legendary heroes and villians, bringing the history of the Warhammer world to life. HELDENHAMMER is Book One of the Sigmar trilogy. Humanity struggles to survive, split into primitive tribes warring with each other, the greenskins and monsters of the world. Sigmar of the Unberogen tribe has a vision to unite the tribes. This novel covers the events that will lay the foundation of the Empire, from Sigmar's first time leading men into combat to the climatic Battle of Black Fire Pass where the fate of humanity will be decided. McNeill brings the ancient Warhammer world to vivid life with memorable characters, mystery, bloody battles and epic heroic feats. I'm looking forward to the next two books in the trilogy since they will cover events little known to Warhammer fans. Highly recommended and a great starting out point for readers not familiar with the Warhammer fantasy world.
