About book Heroic Abduction (2014)

And another book of great enjoyment. It was again fun because havinv a glimpse with the official guide of mercenary, this purple alien in seek of hero's title did the contrary with the mercenary act. but the human not so in distress was nearly all mercenary. Both of them just match in their own ways with the trouble magnet. When he was doing things for good deeds it's end with destroyed and distress. Betty was more too fragile for a violent world. it was fun, quirky read. unexpected to jump to another time since with this one the purple's cousins were far away in time. long distance cousins and welcome back humans. Dyre's determined to rescue Betty, whether she likes it or not: Bucking family tradition, he is determined to become his planet’s first hero, even if it breaks his mother’s heart. He sets out on numerous quests to bring justice to the universe. However, his altruism never seems to turn out quite as expected. Who knew doing the right thing was so hard? The fifth book in the series is an hilarious addition to the series. The mercenary angle had grown stale over the course of the first four books. This role reversal brought new life to the storyline, and may very well be my new favorite in the series:-)The quotes from the mercenary guidebook and the galactic hero guidebook really highlight Dyre's internal struggles. He is delightfully clueless as to how his butchered heroic attempts screw up people's lived, so much that they generally wish him dead... or worse. When he rescues a headstrong human not-so-damsel-in-distress after all; Betty, he has to work overtime to suppress his inborn, mercenary and very un-heroic needs to ravish her. As this is an Eve Langlais story, hilarity ensues.(Fear not, dear damsels, you'll get plenty of hot & steamy scenes as well!)I was sorely tempted to give this sexy piece of fluff 5 stars. However, I think I'll settle for 4.5 stars and 5 cheers for the misunderstood purple hero & Eve Langlais. Her stories never fail to bring a smile to my face:-)
