A very funny look at what happens when God decides to resign (to open an Asian-American fusion restaurant) and destroy Earth. It is up to two Angels from the Miracles Department (Craig and Eliza) to save the world...can they do it?I thoroughly enjoyed this novel. It made me laugh out loud many times and caused me to think about so those so-called "coincidences" that happen in life. I highly recommend it! I loved it! It's a simple romcom kind of book describing Heaven as a corporate company with God as the CEO. There aren't any vivid descriptions of each character, but in some cases you get certain info about each of the main ones. Like the balding Craig, or God being an old man and blue-eyed Eliza. the unique setting of Heaven having a corporate culture with each department in charge of different kind of things (ie, Miracles Department, etc. ) made this book so interesting to read. The interactions between the angels (the company's employees) and the weird antics of God was such an enjoyable and fun thing to read and imagine. Although there was no real logic behind it all, it was still quite easy to believe and a fun thing to ponder on. I haven't laughed so much in ages while reading a book. Love!
