About book How I Became Lotus Raine...the Porn Star (2000)
So I don't read erotica usually, but for some weird reason, the porn industry and how the actors came to be fascinates me, so I picked this book up anyway.It was seriously one of the most unique books I've ever read because it tells a story, but also breaks down the fourth wall if there is such a thing in books. They mention talking about condoms, and how readers need to hear they're used, and how insta-love is frowned upon in the book world. All stuff I as a romance reader notice. I've never read any other books of Ms Ashby's but I might have to now if only to see the unique and different viewpoint she has on subjects.4 stars. I enjoyed reading this book, it was hard to put down. Brent is sexy, dirty and sweet. Lucy is trying to figure out how to deal with her self made demons and together they work through them in some super creative ways and in the end you guessed it she becomes a porn star."The devil on the shoulder was kicking the angel’s ass.
