In my opinion it was a really good book, though it was a bit "cheesy" at times, I felt like it showed some struggles that could happen in our life's and through out high school and as a teenager. At some points I felt it was a bit dramatic with the romance with all the break ups and make ups but it is a really fun book to read. Alice and her two best friends Elizabeth and Pamela get to do many different fun things throughout the book and just show what it's like as an average teenager. It was an easy book to connect with and understand and it had a lot of surprises. What I liked most about this book I that Alice is just down-to-earth. She doesn't have this extravagant life where each moment is this new adventure, she has her days where she just does nothing, she has her days when she doesn't feel well or when she's down. She's just a normal teenager in her first year of high school with all of her friends. The adventures and stuff she does do are just as easy for any one else to do and I think that's why it's so easy to connect with. I definitely think that it is worth reading even though it may seem really long it's a really good book. I loved this book, I just couldn't put it down. "I like him, he likes her" is about a freshman named Alice, Who has just been dumped by her boyfriend, Patrick. The book contains three stories Alice alone, Simply Alice, and Patiently Alice. Alice's dad, Ben, is getting married to her second grade teacher, Sylvia. Unfortunately, the maid of honor becomes sick and the wedding is postponed till the fall. Well I'm going to stop there because I hate spoiling things. I would definitely recommend this book to teen age girls because it will pretty much describe their life. Guys could read it if they were interested in mushy girl stuff.
