About book I Love How You Love Me (2000)

4 starsWhile I may not be a fan of the insta love here I cant deny that Dylan Sullivan is another in the long list of swoon worthy Sullivan's. It's hard to not want to be part of this clan. I think it was cute the whole single mother and kid story line those are actually good and it was refreshing to see someone not feel weird about it and actually gravitate towards Mason. The bond those two have is precious to see. I like that Dylan is such a loving son and a good brother to that it's obvious that family is important to him. Even with his laid back vibe towards life, you can see his passion is really sailing and building ships. A unique gift not everyone can master and love to see the beauty behind it. Sailing can actually really be likened to life and its adversity.Yey for the catch up with other favorite Sullivan's from Cali. I do miss them but I enjoy the Seattle group too. Its nice to hear how everyone is and how things just get better for this group. It's nice to witness and feel part of, they are all close too which is rare but a nice treat.Bella Andre always manages to leave us with a smile, the importance of family is a theme in her books that is so enjoyable and heart warming to see. To feel like we know this family and are part of the generations, each Sullivan different and still connected. Even the moms are awesome that you truly enjoy spending time with the their family. Im actually excited for the East Coast Sullivans hinted here as well. Dylan, Grace, and Mason won my heart! Dylan, the boat builder, is not in as glamorous an occupation as some of the other Sullivans. He is free of responsibility and focuses on sailing until he meets Grace. Grace's independence and her decision to keep her son make her a strong, lovable heroine. There was the potential for a dangerous conflict that kept her from wanting to fall for Dylan. The sexy scenes (phone sex, anyone?) were hot and romantic. I loved the interaction between Dylan and Mason, Grace's son. This was an easy, absorbing read. The Sullivan family (Seattle) gathered with a couple of surprises that I thought were fun. The importance of family is an underlying theme in this series. This is a standalone series. I have read a few, but not all, and I was easily able to follow the storyline. Now I want to get caught up with a few of the stories I haven't read!

Do You like book I Love How You Love Me (2000)?

Dylan and Grace... 3 sweet stars! As with all the Sullivan men, I absolutely loved Dylan. Sweet, attentive and great in bed. Their story starts with love-at-first-sight and I must confess that I wasn't a fan (as I am not a believer). I found it a little unbelievable at times. And the fact that Grace gave into Dylan's advances just one week after meeting him, after what she's been through?? A highlight that I really enjoyed was reading about the other Sullivans at Mia's party. (hmmm... maybe I should re-read the series again)

Probably 3.5 stars. The main reason why it wasn't my favourite was because he fell for her the moment he saw her, and so that took some tension and drama out. Usually there is the push and pull, and the gradual falling in love that makes the story, so his realization as soon as they meet that he's going to be with her and everything else is now a foregone conclusion. I still liked the story, but overall it did affect my enjoyment of the book.
