I really wanted to like this book but just ended up thinking Madi was a slut. She jumped from one bed to the other. The mom didn't care that she had her boyfriend staying over night. And the latest conquest too. She wanted to protect her brother, but she let him know that they were messing around. I had no idea that this book would be so amoral. I just didn't like the book. I liked the idea of the book, just not the execution of it. I really wanted to love this book more than I did. The plot was a great one, but it just wasn't written well enough for me to give it more than 1 star and I don't want to be harsh, but I do want to be honest. The writing was too simplistic for the story to work for me - it was if it was written by a high student who was killing some time in study hall by writing a love story. I will not be reading the rest of the books in this series!
