This book is amazing. Mind-blowingly amazing. I love watching Thanatos and Reagan's relationship repair and grow from what happened 8 months ago because all Reagan ever wanted was to be needed, so that's why she does what she does. It's also incredibly endearing seeing this, literally, 5000 year old virgin have his moments of ultra masculinity with hints of vulnerability because of his desire to have a mate and children that has been denied to him for so long. What I really want to know is how Reseph/Pestilence is ever going to redeem himself for what he has done. I hated those vile and disgusting comments about women, death and misery that made me want to rip him a new piece. I'm honestly scared to read the next book because I have no idea if I'll be able to forgive him. We'll see.

Freaking awesome!!! Fantastic plot and twists and nasty gory action. Larissa Ione rocks and I can't wait to read the next book and see what she has in store for us. I stated reading the series in order to get to the last book, but boy, not a single one of these books was less than amazing. I loved the first one the most and this one is in second place, but I hope rogue rider becomes a favorite too. Heck, it probably will.
