Il romance è classico: lui eroe, lei vergine. E per capirci qualcosa nella parte suspence devi avere per forza letto In Jack's arms o Nikolay 2, altrimenti ti perdi.Ma il romance è dolce e carino, e i protagonisti sono belli: Finn è eroe di guerra (veterano, senza una gamba e alcolista) e Hadley soffre di cuore e sta per affrontare una rischiosa operazione, ma l'autrice gestisce bene e con rispetto le problematiche di entrambi che ci sono, ma non sono un limite. Niente piagnistei qui, insomma, a parte una credibilissima crisi di Hadley quando scopre di dover essere operata di nuovo.E' un Love story, ma con lieto fine, e qualche scena hot che l'autrice gestisce con maestria (al solito). Quasi un racconto natalizio, ma con panpepato. Final installement in the Connolly's Brothers serie and this is probably my favorite one. Didn't really get why the part with the cartel was so short as I thought it would take a bigger part of the story but I'm not complaining I guess it will be explained in the other series.I really love Roxie's style of writing, the character are all lovely and you can relate to them. They aren't made to seem perfect they are all broken in their own way but all find their happiness. Can't wait to read the other series she's written!
