About book Insufferable Proximity (2000)

Ugghhhhh that me groaning because of this insufferable book. At 20% I was rolling my eyes and by 30% I said "FUCK IT!" And decided this would be a DNF for me. Where did it all go wrong you ask? Everywhere! The plot had some promise so I decided to give it a try but by 15% I was like "oh no.....please no" the n shit hit the fan. The characters were one dementional, I felt there was no chemistry or depth to their feelings , the love scene lacked some serious imagination and the editing was horrid! I hope that the author invests in some great editors in the future. 5 stars!!!Written in 3rd Person POV, and I like it that I get to know what goes on someone else's head aside from the 2 main characters. He's a manwhore! damn! He really couldn't keep it in his pants! All he wanted was to get off, but then he changed, because of her, and I like that giving her pleasure, pleasures him..I like the transition of the story, from mortal enemies to lovers. This is coming from a reader who HATES 3rd Person POV novels!! I couldn't help it, I know i'm not the only one who usually feels detached to the characters when it's written in 3rd person, but in this novel, Damn!!! I feel oh so connected! Love the writing style, the story, the characters, everything!!The novel is pretty long, which I kind of like, coz it's not hurried, but it's not boring at all.I think he's in love with her breast, and he shows it... a lot. But I never got tired of reading them!! Oh! She never blew him!! (Yayks!)
