About book Into The Dream (2013)

This book was provided to me free of charge in exchange for an honest review. Please visit ssylblog.wordpress.com for more reviews.Sure, a world where the female population is dwindling, and the remaining woman are forced into marriages has been done before. Even a woman bonding with brothers has been done before. But, trust me when I tell you: not like this. Ms. Roma is able to take a common theme in sci-fi, and create a unique story all her own. Here, the displaced surgeon, Allison Summers, finds herself mated to the Dracor Princes, brothers Tynan, Cael, and Ryder. But unlike other tales, they will work together to bring actual changes in the society- after all, introducing more females to the same stifling environment, where nothing has changed will lead to the same results- a stagnant society, with females secreted away. This book is a truly enjoyable read, and I’m hoping that Raven will also be brought over to Arcadia…it is fun trying to figure out which set of triplets she might hook up with! I would strongly recommend this book to readers who like the whole sci-fi mating- open mind bonds and all. You will absolutely not be disappointed. Oh, and the heroes are about seven feet tall, and built…ahem…in proportion. Will definitely need a fan when you read the bonding scenes!5/5 flaming hearts for sensuality. Allison Summers has had quite a day. Alarm clock doesn't go off, spilled coffee requiring change of clothing, late to report for her surgical rotation, overtime shift, and finally when she is able to go home it's pouring rain and she can't find a cab. If that's not enough, she gets struck by lightning when attempting to walk home only to find ... she's been transported to an alien planet. Arcadian Princes Tynan, Cael, and Ryder Dracor are identical triplets on a planet where all 3 brothers must mate with one female who they have yet to agree on. When a mysterious female shows up it doesn't take more than a millisecond to realize she's their mate no matter who she is. Allison may be in over her head on a wierd planet of alpha male warrriors who grunt and growl a lot but that doesn't mean she'll be a pushover when the three guys declare her blood bonded to them as their mate. Nope. She didn't get the nickname "Ice Queen" on her bubbling personality and warm disposition. Maybe she'll just have to educate her newly bonded mates and planet of barbarians not to underestimate the power of women. Overall a total contemporary fantasy sci-fi read that had I appreciated as just that. The plot premise had me interested while the cast of characters had a unique slant that pulled me in, especially when I saw a tag for this read of 'dragons.' Those paranormal beings are my fav to read about especially when paired with hunky alpha alien men. The adult content is there with plenty of m/f, m/f/m/m relationship scenes. I can't say that I required a cold shower to cool off after reading them as they were more formulated to showcase the actual acts vs the sensual slant. This also had me questioning the instant attraction premise between the four vs just having a viable female to mate to show up and making it work. I did get the affection/lust between them but just didn't buy the zing factor. The saving grace to this book was the last third portion of the story. The events that happen at that point were promising that any future installments would be worth checking out. I did catch that the second installment "Into The Ashes" is slated to be released Nov 21, 2013. I will definitely give this a lookie.
