About book Kreivitär Onnen Oikusta (2000)

Review will be published on By the Book Reviews this month...When Steven woke up he remembered nothing about the past few months of his life. Not the tattoo that has magically appeared on his body, the injuries he has suffered, or the woman in front of him who claims to be his wife. He is determined to find out the truth, a desire that seems to only bring danger his way. Trying to protect his wife, who he is developing feelings for, he ends up hurting her time and again. I enjoyed watching the relationship between Steven & Emily evolve, while they both searched for what had happened the past few months. I hated how his family treated her, as if she were nothing, and how they kept pushing for a divorce and trying to get him to move on to someone more "appropriate" in their opinions. It further annoyed me that Steven did absolutely nothing to stop the way Emily was treated, not just by his parents but by everyone in society. In fact, his behavior actually made things worse & although he claimed to be trying to protect her, he seemed to just hurt her more. Despite the fact that he was often a first-class jerk, I did want the two of them to fall in love and stay together. The twists & turns of the mystery behind what happened to Steven definitely will keep the reader guessing! The only reason I couldn't give this story 5 stars was because it seemed to be missing something that I couldn't put my finger on. It took a minute to finish this book because my attention was everywhere. I felt a drop in this book from the intro book with this couple. The memory thing pissed me off at times. Stephen was tripping with his attitude with the kids in the beginning he did have some funny moments. Stephen was doing Emily wrong thinking she was lying about them being married and kept leaving. Emily had her moments of being annoying but how would you feel if your husband didnt know. I thought the crime part of the book was a good addition.

Just a good easy read to enjoy. Yes not quite realistic but that is why we read romance.
