Alistair made an impression on me in Only Yours so even though it had been some time since, I remembered him immediately when I started reading.Like Simon, Alistair has been carrying some baggage as he goes through life and after hearing from Simon about his new life in Fool's Gold, he decided to come over for a visit and see for himself.Alistair is just so absolutely charming and sweet and so British. I loved how his character was being written. It's certainly no wonder that Paige would be swept by him. Paige is one sweet gal full of love, warmth and sunshine.Through Alistair, Paige found the courage and started planning on her traveling (something that she has always wanted to do but didn't). Through Paige, Alistair got to realize and made peace with himself.Totally enjoyed this short read. Cute but short story about Paige, a Fool's Gold resident who ends up hosting Alistair Woodbury when he comes to visit his friend Simon. Unfortunately, Simon's wife Montana is preggers and Alistair has measles so he can't stay at their home. Paige offers her house and the rest is history....Due to the shortness of the story, there is no real character development but both people are nice and involved in helping others and have had loss in their lives. Both Paige and Alistair are reassessing what they really want out of life and what is really important to them.Cute love story, nice ending.
