About book Mozart's Blood (2010)

I really enjoyed this book! I loved the music research the author clearly did before writing, and having a music degree, I appreciated all the details she used, especially about the castrati. Also being a huge Mozart fan, I really liked the operatic parts of the book. I couldn't put it down, in fact. I liked the main characters, and was eager to see if it would have a "happy" ending. The European scenery was aptly described in lush detail. One of the best "vampire" books I've read, I truly appreciated the characters. I didn't mind the flashing ask in time sections nor did I find it difficult to follow. I would definitely recommend this. one problem with the book so far: HOW OLD IS THIS LADY SUPPOSED TO LOOK?in one place it says she looks like shes in her late 40s and in another its describing how young and nubile she looks compared to the other singer. and that's in 1904... in the modern day shes supposed to look 40 and she was bitten at 17 and somewhere in the middle she looks 17? what!?!?!?! how old is this lady supposed to look for crying out loud!!! make up your damn mind!!!AFTER READING: I had a whole very nice review written out that was deleted when my mouse became possessed.basic summary of my review: elitist snob "Americans uncultured" garbage got on my nerves. stop that! bad snobby opera singer lady!Italian stuff with translations not included annoys. I cant read it, don't expect others to be able to read it either.continuity issues: switching from flashback 1 character a to flashback 1 character b to flashback 2 character a then back again is NOT FUN, A LITTLE CONFUSING, AND A TOTAL MIND FUCK. not to mention irritating as hell.i still don't know how old this chick looks. a person who looks seventeen cannot pass for a forty year old. its not possible. im almost twenty and i still look fourteen.pretentious italicizing of words like "pasta". like the "horror" aspects. didn't like the "opera" as much. it came off as snobby and annoying after a time.i liked it enough to give it at least three stars. if there were half stars id give it three and a half...but there aren't. so im going with three.

Do You like book Mozart's Blood (2010)?

Not the type of paranormal I'm used to reading. Weak vampires and weak werewolves aren't my type.

Sweeping, lyrical, gripping - can't say enough good things about this one. A must read!
