About book MVP (2000)

There aren't enough words to describe how I love this book. Continue on in the life is Ysa as she and Sebastian work on making their life together. Ysa's life hasn't been a good one and her past is making her hard to look to a future with the man she loves. Madam is always there, her past is always there. As Sebastian world and hers collide can Ysa get past her insecurities, let go of the past and live a happy life with Sebastian? Just when you think it's all going to work out.... One phone call, "She needs you" changes everything. As the story unfolds secrets come out, mistakes are made and life comes crashing down around them. Can they pick up the pieces and make it work? Is love really enough to heal them both? I have loved this series from the beginning but nothing could have prepared me for the insanity that comes out in this book. M Robinson out does herself with this final installment of the VIP trilogy. So well written I found myself feeling EVERYTHING the characters were feeling. I laughed, I cried, I got angry... so much emotion coming from these pages.Do yourself a favor and get this book today. You won't regret it. Sit back and enjoy the ride that is MVP. Wow. I was actually looking forward to reading this book because the first 2 were very good and I was pulled into the story. I needed to find out how the story ended and how everything was played out. To say I was a little disappointed is an understatement. Yes I am giving this book 3 stars because we did get an ending and there was 1 part that I really enjoyed. Let’s start with the character changes in this book. I felt like Sebby and Ysa were both two different people. In the first book Sebby was never controlling or domineering in any type of way and Ysa was not a push over and as insecure as she was in this book. But I guess that’s what happens when you start a relationship based off an affair who knows. These two spent 60% of the book fighting and holding back their feelings rather than trying to make the relationship work. There were also times in this book I would read something and stop and think I have read this exact part somewhere else. It was like reading someone else’s life that I have heard and being put into the characters. I felt like these 2 people were not the Sebby and Ysa I knew from the first book. I know people change over time but not to the point of not being able to recognize the characters from the other book. Of course Madam was still the same selfish person she was in The Madam. That was my favorite part was what Ysa did to Madam. Also towards the end of the book Ysa made a huge mistake it happens and its life but what I didn’t fully understand was how Sebby said all those things to her the way he did and then she just forgave him 1, 2, 3. I understand people say things they don’t mean when they are mad but honestly most the time your true feelings come out when you are mad so I felt he truly meant some of those things. Believe me when I say they were very hurtful. I am happy that got there HEA but disappointed in the way the story unfolded
