About book Neuropath (2008)

It was a very interesting book, with a lot of philosophical questions, like what is consciousness?, what is the mind?, is there free will if everything that we think is created by neuronal processes?, also the story is engaging and it has some unexpected turns. It's easy to feel sympathy for the main character and his kids, I really hope some of the technologies mentioned on the book never exist they are scary at the very least. I did not like this book for a few reasons: 1) the main character was a nerdy college professor with glasses. It was very hard for me to imagine a heroic psychology 101 professor. 2) This book was extremely filthy. It had so many sex scenes it would make Fifty Shades of Grey blush. I try to avoid books that have stuff like that. With this book I probably skipped about 30+ pages. This was the first book I've ever read by this author. I will not read any of his other works.

Do You like book Neuropath (2008)?

This was a *good* book, but it was painful to read and I cannot say that I enjoyed the experience.

So many questions and almost any answers. I like it, it gave me a lot of what to think about.

Actually, I did go back and finished it. . . and regretted doing so.
