About book Not One Word (2011)

Ah...a tiny little sip--a moment in time...a fleeting glimpse. And hot sex...all without one word---just lovely descriptive passages. Not One Word by Kim Dare is a tiny snapshot of a what appears to be a chance encounter between Ben and Luke. At first I was taken aback by the thought that Ms Dare had decided to make her Dom a less than savory character--for fairly quickly we find out he has taken on the challenge to seduce Ben--a submissive and have him submit completely without ever speaking to him. To that end, he dresses rather bizarrely as a mime--in a tutu no less and waits in the park for Ben to go on his evening run. His ploy works, looking pathetic enough for Ben to take him home with him--admittedly a bit too trusting--even for a submissive...but then the story heats up and we get Luke's (the Dom) point of view and we realize that he cares for Ben--has seen him often at the club and wants to eventually collar him...have him exclusively. And we sigh in relief--no bad guy here--just an unusual telling of a happy little moment of lovely submission.Just another quiet little tale by Kim Dare--sweet and gentle but hot enough to keep one interested! As always, her writing style, her excellent story telling keep me contented and looking for more. Not one word...well..I guess I had just a few to say about this little gem after all. Is it conceivable that a submissive could recognize a Dom in a man he just met for the first time without one single word being spoken by said Dom? Is it conceivable that a Dom could get a man to submit to him without uttering a single verbal command? Is it wise to trust a man you met for the first time enough to let him handcuff you and have his way? Guess you’ll have to read this little gem to get the answers to those questions! Short and sexy;)

Do You like book Not One Word (2011)?

It's a fun read for a short story. It's more like a scene actually than a short story.

I can't say I enjoyed the twist. Not that I mind it, but it was too quick. 2.5 stars.
