Do You like book Nunca Te Apaixones Por Um Highlander (2014)?
I hate to see this series end! I think this book is my favorite of the three. It starts with the wedding alliance of Rionna MacDonald to Caelen McCabe. She was jilted (sort of) by Alaric in the last book. Caelen is set to take over as Laird of the MacDonald clan, but things aren't going well. The old laird has neglected his duty and isn't willing to let go of his power. Rionna's father flees the keep and seeks out an old enemy, Cameron Duncan, and aligns with him to destroy the McCabes.The early section of this book is spent watching Rionna and Caelen battle with each other. Caelen isn't interested in a love match and claims he's doing his duty, as is Rionna. The two can't communicate with each other to save their lives. Caelen has serious foot in mouth disease and Rionna is not willing to give up her warrior princess ways to don dresses and embroider all day. All her life, she's hidden her feminine charms behind male clothing and swordplay with the other warriors. She's a spitfire heroine who marries a stubborn ox with a big mouth. Yes, I did snicker a few times as they tried to out sass each other.While the couple clashes in the beginning, it only adds fire to their passion. The love was on the physical side at first, but it grew to something deeper. There was a LOT of steamy sex...almost too much. I did like how the plot unfolded. The action sequences were exciting and the ending was very memorable. I'll really miss this series, but it's one I'll revisit in the future.

Dos três livros desta saga devo dizer que este foi aquele que mais gostei e que mais mexeu comigo a nivel da história, não gostei nada da história do Ewan, gostei muito mais do Alaric e finalmente neste livro......conhecemos o casal Caelen e Rionna, no inicio do livro entram num casamento para salvaguardar alianças entre clãs mas ao longo do livro acabam por inevitavelmente envolver-se e apaixonar-se apesar dele a achar irritante e maria rapaz sempre a lutar de espada na mão e ela o achar impertinente e teimoso.Gostei de todos os pequenos pormenores que autora vai mostrando ao longo do livro desde os cenários descritos, à vida no clã, difícil vida das mulheres na altura, e que me fizeram apaixonar completamente pela Rionna mesmo quando ela no final teve que tomar decisões que lhe podiam ter custado o casamento e perder o amor de Caelen mas fê-lo em nome do amor, a parte final do livro é toda ela uma aglomerado de emoções mas aquele final foi mesmo muito bom! Em suma adorei!
