Jayne Castle’s futuristic novels set in Harmony have just the right amount of paranormal, mystery and love to keep you going from one book to the next. There are nine books in the series so far and I am pretty certain there will be more. These books are stand alones, but all relate to each other. As you read more books you come across references to the hero and heroine of another one in the series, somehow they all know each other and soon you start to feel like you know them all, too. Jayne Castle is actually Jayne Ann Krentz who also writes under the pseudonym Amanda Quick. All of Jayne’s books have one thing in common: They are paranormal love stories with a mystery to solve. If you like those three things then you can’t go wrong reading Jayne’ work regardless of what name she uses. I enjoyed reading all of her books and will continue to read them. Thanks Jayne Castle/Jayne Ann Krentz/Amanda Quick for giving me many hours of pleasurable reading. Boy meets girl. Girl has dust bunny for pet. Boy loses girl. Para psych events occur all featuring amber. Boy and girl have sex and live happily ever after.Jayne Castle has written several novels featuring her fantasy world of Harmony. There could be a lot of stories here, but she chooses to tell the same one over and over. Right down to an intimate kitchen scene, an event in a night club and a trip to the jungles or tunnels of amberness. Nothing new here.
