This short story is GOLD! If I'm ever feeling down or tired I just whip it up for a good laugh. It has all my favorite things: strong female protagonist; powerful, but also very nice, guy; Honest, straightforward thoughts and conversations; imperfect but endearing characters. It's the definition of a good read. Perfect for a short, sweet break from reality. And I'm quite picky with my library. Kudos to the Andrews for this awesome read. I am a major fan of this author. They did not dissapoint me. This short story really hit the mark. I hope they are going to make it a longer book and maybe a series. it starts out with alena arguing with her parents about going on a date with a thug. it has a wonderful fairy tale ending with adventure along the way. this writing team loves strong women and doesnt disappoint with Alena. it is definitely worth the small fee - less than a cup of coffee. enjoy
