Wow, talking about insta attraction and insta love. Brett is a domineer man that goes after what he wants and he has set his sights on Evvie. Pretty much in the first couple of chapters, Brett and Evvie are totally hot for one another and things that Brett normally does is out the window since he got his first taste of Evvie. Hot sex and professions of love is all over this place. I thought it was really fast but works for these characters.The best part is Evvie is a strong woman and doesn't have a problem testing Brett. He's a no relationship kinda caveman alpha male but that's all tossed out the door when it comes to his "lover". You can't even look at Evvie or give her a friendly hug without him going crazy, even if it's her brother hugging her. This story had potential but I couldn't get past some things. For example, the overuse of the term "lover" by the characters was incredibly annoying. I can't believe the author did not see any problems with it. The insta-love btw the characters was hard to buy. They basically fell into lust and then profess their love. The h was a brat with daddy-issues. She goes from being sweet to really horny once she sees the H and has no problem immediately sleeping with her boss. Most of the men in the story want to sleep with h and even a female coworker. This came off really fake and forced. There was nothing appealing about the h. There is a story with an evil ex that was with the H and refuses to let him go. That character was too OTT. I do not care enough about this story or characters to continue this series.
