I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review. Running back to you was a well developed romance. Jette is a 23 year old recent college graduate who moves to point pleasant. Evan is an NFL quarterback who has recently moved to her hometown in order to join a new football team. This book was funny, emotional, and filled with great friends and family.While I honestly like this book, I was not in love with the whole "love at first site" vibe going on. I loved the fact that Jette doesn't realize who or what he does for a living. They are able to get to know each other without the fact of him being famous factoring into the relationship. I really liked Evan and how he was sexy and confident without all the arrogance that usually comes with it. Jette was ok but not my favorite character, she was a little too into self sabotage for my likes.This story was well rounded. I liked the side characters and felt invested in their stories along side Evan and Jette's story. I look forward to the next book in this series. This book is not your typical Cinderella fairy tale by all means. This book has a lot of back on forth but also has a lot of "steamy" Parts. I have to say I had a hard time putting this book down I was anxious to see what was going to happen next. From the beginning to the very last page I can say there is not a dull moment. I will say this though so parts I felt where maybe a little to detailed but over all that did not take away from the story line or distant you from it either. I love the chemistry coming of the pages from each character in the book as well as the spark between the main characters. I goes to show love is not easy and you have to fight for it all the while trying not to loose site of the greater picture or yourself. If you are looking for a book with some actions, some sexy steam parts and some really great writing you really can not go wrong with this book. I really hope you enjoyed this as much as I did.I was given a free copy of this book from Netgalley for my honest review.
