Let me start by saying this story is off the charts HOT. Abel is not only a rock god but a sex god who is also a Dom, is there a better combination? Well there is actually something more, something that makes me personally melt into a puddle but you'll have to find that out on your own by reading this book!When I first started this book I thought it was just some super hot erotica but then the characters and the plot started to really develop and I was hooked! Abel is a sexy, brooding, extreme Alpha male and he is definitely hiding something pretty major. He could definitely be described as sex on a stick and he will definitely get your panties in a bunch! He can be a real jerk sometimes but it seems to me that is because he isn't used to having feelings for anyone. In fact, he is also a womanizer until he meets Gia who awakens something inside of him and gets him hopelessly addicted to her. I have mixed feelings on Gia, I can't really say why without spoiling some plot points. I mostly felt sorry for her because of her history and how Abel's loving treatment affected her because she had never experienced anything like that before. I was torn between wanting to hug her and wanting to slap her throughout the entire story. I think she is going to redeem herself for some of her bad decisions but we'll see! However the relationship between the two was great, the scorching hot chemistry made for some incredible sex scenes and the way that both of them were discovering what love was really like was endearing.This novel is full of secrets, each main character is hiding something huge. Also, there is something majorly shady going on throughout this novel and it involves at least one secondary character but my gut is telling me that the secrets run deeper than it seems. Some things are revealed by the end of this novel but there is definitely more to come and I can't wait to read more! The only reason this book didn't get 5 stars from me is that some of the dialogue seemed awkward, not enough to really affect the book but it did bother me a little bit in the beginning, it did improve by the end though.The ending was explosive and while I was sort of expecting something like that to happen it was still intense.
