About book Seduce Me At Sunrise (2008)

This book is EVERYTHING. I read this book a long time ago but still remember how much I loved it. I enjoyed the entire Hathaway series but could not wait for Win and Merripen to get together. There story is AWESOME! I enjoyed watching Win move past her illness and decide to live her life fully. She didn't go through years of being sick and weak to give up on Merripen. And his love for her was fierce which made their story intoxicating. I highly recommend any lovers of romance novels to spend an afternoon falling into this story. You won't regret it. A beautiful story of two souls destined for one another. This is the story of a boy, raised as a savage, a brutal fighting machine, violent and untamed, who falls in love with a gentle angel of a girl, with pale skin and golden-white hair. Upon their first meeting as children, they are both instantly drawn/devoted to one another and as they grow up they must find the courage to risk everything in order to be together.Lisa Kleypas weaves her memorable characters throughout this romantic tale and explores a passion and devotion that sizzles. The reunion scene, when Winifred returns from France, is perhaps my favourite... I gasped and laughed and held my breath. Totally loved it. I don't think the Julian storyline really made that much sense but hey, it's a love story so I'll let it go. I can't wait to read #3 in this series. Totally hooked!

Do You like book Seduce Me At Sunrise (2008)?

I liked this book well enough. Win and Merripen are both strong, likeable protagonists, and they clearly care deeply for each other. However, the basic premise of this book, that Merripen can't be with Win because of his violent past, did not sufficiently support the entire 300+ pages of book. The "I love you, but I can't be with you" conversations and scenes were repetitive. Kleypas just didn't sufficiently develop this as the primary reason why the two lovebirds had an insurmountable barrier to being together.
