About book Seven Clues To Winning You (2000)

This book annoyed the hell out of me. From the very first chapter, Blythe was selfish, annoying, whiny little bitch who blames everything to his father-the-principal. And then came along the hypocritical, journalist wanna be. Oh, let's not forget the make-out-addict goth-I-don't-care-what-people-think-I'm-unique couple and the backstabbing best friend. Mix it all together and what do we have? Yay! The recipe for disaster! Blythe is forced by her parents to move from Meriton High School, to Ash Grove, where a year before an embarrassing picture of her was passed around the school like wildfire. Not to mention, her father's also the principal of Ash Grove. And Luke Paval, the guy that operates the online student newspaper, and her haven't gotten off on the right foot. Trying to save her social life, Blythe helps runs an underground Senior Scramble scavenger hunt, and very hunt she'd managed to get her father to ban during a time of distress. Now she must try to run the Senior Scramble with Luke, and soon finds herself falling for him. That's when she realizes that she has a lot more to gain than just winning the Senior Scramble. I give this book 5/5 stars because it was really funny. I absolutely adored this book, and its characters. I love this author. And the title is super creative, and very cute, and you will totally appreciate it once you read this book!

I really liked it although it was definitely for young adults. Some crude humor.
