About book Sixth Of The Dusk (2000)

4.5, I think. The fact that Brandon Sanderson can write a world like this in under 100 pages is just amazing. I really hope there's a sequel to this - the only thing I really have to say is that the writing itself suffers a bit when condensed into something so short. It was a really fun, quick read though. Also, who the hell are the Ones Above? If they're in the Cosmere...what does that mean? This could be taken in so many different directions. I can't wait to see where it goes. Brandon Sanderson is turning out to be quite a prolific writer, with a vast range of imagination added with a lovely grasp of logic and an excellent writing style. Just when one thinks that there can't be more variety after reading Elantris, Mistborn series, Stormlight Archives series, Emperor's Soul, Legion series, Warbreaker etc., he has to come up with this... something which gives a deep food for thought, mixed with some excellent writing, a great imagination and a deep perception. My only nitpicking is that this is too short...

Completely awesome book. A rare treat with a walk through on how to write fiction. I loved it.

Three stars because it's too short :) A fun story with some interesting Cosmere hints.
