Setelah merasa kasihan sama Toby karena ditinggal tunangannya, akhirnya he found Isabel, his love. Walaupun awalnya pernikahan mereka didasari ketertarikan fisik dan kepentingan pribadi masing2, tetapi pada akhirnya masing2 ga sadar mau berkorban untuk pasangannya. Dimana Toby mau berkiprah di politik demi Isabel (walaupun ga mau), disamping itu Isabel pun merasa bersalah karena terlalu memaksakan kehendak pada Toby, dan lebih milih Toby apa adanya. Bagian rayu-merayunya juga yahud, secara Toby kan terkenal playboy hihihi... The heroine is WILDLY annoying, and the hero, who I LOVED in the first book of this trilogy, turns into a dim-witted pansy about 20 pages in. And I couldn't STAND the constant moralizing and the heroine's focus on marrying someone powerful so she could cure society of its vices. Ugh.But his family is awesome, and her brothers are great, and the secondary plot with Joss and Hetta is pretty good, and the chapter with Jeremy and Lucy (and their baby!) is the BEST. But I'm biased, because I love Jeremy and Lucy.All in all, very disappointed with this one.
