About book Skateboard Renegade (2000)

The book Skateboard Renegade started out with Zach the protagonist getting accepted into a prestige school named Amherst. This meant he had to leave his old friends at Brighton so; he ended up not being too thrilled about his acceptance. He started to feel peer pressure from his friend Brian many times and even on one occasion he was caught by the police for skateboarding very recklessly. Throughout this book I liked how Zach's friendships were tested greatly. His old gang kept making terrible choices while his new friend at Amherst, Benny, was treating him fairly and courteously. He had to choose who to trust more. Another thing I liked about the book was Zach's comedic relationship with his sister, Zoey. For one example when Zoey found out Zach stole money from her she was going to tell her parents but then Zach then started to do a fake cry and Zoey sympathized. I would recommend this book to the teenage male population because a lot of guys don't know who a true friend really is.

Book report #1-Skateboard RenegadeReport by: Lucas KetchttAuthor: Matt ChristophertZachary is an average 12-year-old boy who is just trying to fit in. Bleaching his hair, getting piercings, stealing his little sisters’ money, and much more. And tI think the title means that you shouldn’t change your lifestyle just because you have friends who have done the same (peer pressure). tI liked this book because it relates a lot to me.tI think this books meaning is that you shouldn't be influenced by peer pressure because it might relate to bad carma.t"I'm gonna get a tattoo that has a skateboard and it'll say the words 'ragin'" said Brian.Brian had a tattoo saying 'raggin'.http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/FartL...
