The previous book being so much more to my taste made me rate this one lower.CONTINUITY. ERRORS.DANGLING PLOT THREADS.on the plus side, I feel like the characters were developed pretty well... ish...Misogyny is back again OR STILL HERE yayRetrospective on the entire series: The book had what made the rest of the series tiresome. The books that I liked better just made the places where the others fell short all the more egregious. Will continue reading though. I liked Smiley's book but it's not one of my favourites in this series.Fell a bit flat for me...nothing really happens...slow.....I've always loved Smiley in the previous books but there was something lacking in him here....and I wasn't crazy about Vanni....geez, what kind of a name is that!!!!!I wanted Breeze....Flame.....more about the families....And I absolutely HATED the cover .........the body looks misshapen...yuck!!!!
LOVE IT!! :D I wish Ms. Dohner includes their babies in her next books!! I think they're cute.. XD
