About book Special Forces - Veterans (2010)

Maggie is a Godsend ..would love to have one of her in my life!!what to say about this book/series..I loved it..these two made a way for each other after their rocky beginning..many friends, lovers and then civil partners. Dan the matchmaker..Vadim the cook..am so very pleased to have met them.I once detested Vadim and his ways, but after it was over I think I disliked Dan more. I grew very fond of Vadim, he seemed to have calmed down and Dan became a slut with his sex with everyone he seemed to meet. Dan's relationship with Jean was the worst, since Jean used Dan in the beginning to get back at Vadim. Interesting how 2 men can be in a partnership and still have sex outside of that union..and Dan was one to never want marriage.Wants more interesting is how I seem to keep coming back to these characters and books..difficult to move on and away from them. This book wasn't like the previous ones in the series. It wasn't bad, but it reminded me of when I was little and others would read for me. It was a totally different experience having the book read to me than reading the words myself. This is how I felt while reading this book. Like I wasn't experiencing the story properly. And even though by the time I started this installment, I was used to the ups and downs in the relationship between Dan and Vadim, I was disappointed in them in this book. At least they ended up together.
