About book Svůdné Nebezpečí (2014)

So much better, no hyper-drug glorifying, no near rapes, no serious brainless high school cliquish moments, mostly. I hated book 1. It was terrible covering just about every subject I have no interest in reading about for entertainment. Why did I move on ? Someone I respect found something they liked in this series and challenged me to continue. So, being the easy sort I did. It was so much better, there was a plot, there was intrigue and there was unresolved feelings. The big bad evil Dukes are still the back stabbing evil ones but some of their charges are starting to rebel. Whisperers are watching, spilling secrets, everyone is in danger. They defile the world's innocence and twist it till it is as tarnished as they are. Their children are their servants and not mush more, easily killed or tossed away.Anna is a special snowflake among them and may be the sword that sets them all free. This was a bit annoying, I found her telling about her prophecy of greatness tedious after the second time. She travels around in this book her duty is to sway others to see her gloriousness and follow. Her purity, oh gawd, please just stop telling us how pure you must be.... I really don't like Anna. I don't believe her as a character. She's so sickening in her "goodness" and kind thoughts and then like a light switch she's reaching for the drugs/alcohol. Her love for Ky is weird. Her watching him make out with another, her "it;s okay if you work" so not believable. She is the big flaw in this story for me. I am intrigued by the other Nef's. I like their stories, their flaws, their evil tendencies. They are troubled by their addictions, and don't know how to fit outside the mold they have been folded into. Watching them discover another side of themselves is keeping me going. I want to see where they go, who they end up with. I want them to be free.So I'm downloading the last book now. I still have not fallen for this series, I could not recommend it, that says it all right there. This book is MUCH better than Sweet Evil.I like Anna a lot better for the most part. She becomes much stronger. Although I still don't understand why she's in love with Kaiden.I'm glad Kaiden finally explained why he loved Anna. The first book had it as those unexplained/"meant-to-be"/love-at-first-sight type of ordeal. His reasons for loving Anna made him seem like a much more realistic character. Also, they were very good reasons, like her generosity and such, and not only for superficial reasons...even though he is the "bad-boy" type. Kope....I felt bad when Anna sort of led him on. He didn't deserve that because he is a sweet guy. I am pretty sure he is going to end up with Zania and I look forward to that for both of them.I also liked this book way better than the first because the central plot was more thrilling and wasn't all about the protagonist falling in love. Sure that was a big part, but it wasn't the big problem that was going on. I feel bad for Flynn because he didn't deserve to die at all. The Dukes are all Jerks...except for Belial and anyone else allied with him.So is Azeal allied with Belial? He is Satan's right-hand man/demon guy, so I would think he is evil. Is it because if the Nephilim succeed then Satan and the others will get a chance at Heaven?I wanna see where the Ginger/Blake thing is going. Hopefully it is explained in the next book.I wonder who Marna is going to end up with. I can't think of anymore unpaired guys. Maybe she won't end up with anyone but she mentioned that she really wanted to be loved, so I feel like the trilogy would be incomplete if that's not resolved. Hopefully Kaiden doesn't have to work again. I wonder where Anna is gonna go to college. So yeah great book! Worth the read, I think :)

Do You like book Svůdné Nebezpečí (2014)?

Reading through this book most of my thoughts were that I liked the first one more, with it's fast paced story and interesting characters. But then I read the last fifty pages and I was blown away with the suspence and danger. Even though this book was slower than the first, I enjoyed reading more of Kope and the role Anna plays for the world to change, as well as finally finding out the extent of Kai's feelings for her. I wish this wasn't a trilogy. I need more of Kai, but less of the self-pity from this book.

I loved this book. The story was interesting and made sense. There was a lot of time covered in the book but it made sense with the premise. The story line easy to follow and even though there were a lot of characters introduced they were fleshed out and made real. I did not like the abruptness of the ending, I actually though the last chapter could have been left out though. That last chapter was nice, but I feel like it left off in an awkward place. Maybe it was just me
