This book is about three best friends named Kate, Georgia, and Olivia. They are seventh graders whO have been best friends since their families all moved into the same apartment building. Lately their friendship hasn't been very good, Kate doesn't care about anything but the latest gossip, Georgia can't say out loud whats on her mind, and both Georgia and Kate are ready for Olivia to stop being an observer and writing everything she sees in her notebook. When a blizzard turns Valentines Day into the snow day , the girls create a p,an to hand out homemade fortune cookies to the whole building. If their plan works it will bring a bit orf romance and happiness to their neighbors and help them remember why they are good friends to begin with. I liked this book but I did have a few problems with it. I liked how the POV of the story shifted between the three friends. I liked seeing their side and thinking about each conflict the girls encountered. I liked Kate's point of view the best because she had a sassy take on everything and she was probably the most outgoing out of all of them.I didn't like the fortune cookie idea. No, scratch that. I didn't like how Olivia just suddenly thought up that idea. I thought it would have been more thought over and developed. I thought the idea of the fortune cookies was nice but this story was rushed in the beginning and then it dragged in the middle. It was an okay book but definitely not my favorite.
