About book Take Four (2010)

WOW.....what an amazing end to this series that I had some difficult times feeling I didn't belong there. there were times that I was taken into a comfort zone I didn't like.....but true to Ms Kingsbury's authoring character ship she brought me to a place in the end that I am very familiar with........where I know why I serve my Lord and Savior. Life is difficult needless to say but knowing that all our hardships are covered by His love and He does no leave us nor forsake us is what gives us as believers strength to keep going. even though these books are fiction, they are so very accurate and true to life's real situations. To see them as cheesy is a waste of opportunity to praise your Lord. there's no cheese in God's love and all that I've read from Karen Kingsbury has always without disappointment pointed me to the love of God. I'm so thankful to Him for the gift He gave her and for the blessing to share in her gift. Thank You Jesus! Thank you Karen Kingsbury....my forever fiction author! The book was okay. Don't get me wrong, I love Karen Kingsbury BUT the book was a little too easy to figure out. The whole story with Andi, I saw that coming. I saw the episode with Cody and his mom's addiction rearing it's head again. I saw that the baby Andi would eventually give up for adoption would become a Baxter. Wayyyyyy too predictable. I know how the Bailey series ends, thanks to some person ruining the ending for me, so I definitely am NOT a fan of Brandon Paul. He came on to the scene as a cocky invididual and I didn't like that. Granted, he's found Jesus since first arriving in the book, and that's great. Even his eventual turn to God was a little too easy to figure out. Like I said, I love Karen!!! The "Above the Line" series has not been my favorite, thought.

Do You like book Take Four (2010)?

Veterans Day is in November!!! Is there no such thing as editing anymore? The book is good but mistakes such as that one bother me. I also noticed others. Bisquick pancakes require no oil, not just a little as Tommy asserts. (And his mother does not correct him.)Kari's oldest daughter cannot be 11 if Tommy is only 6. It's been a while since I read that series but I know there were not 5 years between those babies. There was much to like about this book and series but with the above problems I just don't know how to rate it.

Every time I read one of Karen's books, I cry. They always bring the emotion out of me. I love them.
